An AI workflow for designers: brief, references, revisions and review

Turn vague goals into checkable requirements and keep every revision understandable.

Write requirements you can inspect

Define purpose, audience, aspect ratio and required information. Mobile product covers need readable copy and a complete product; brand posters also need accurate logos and colors. Adjectives such as premium or futuristic can guide style but are not acceptance criteria.

Separate fixed identity and text from flexible lighting, scenery and decoration. Conflicting references make both generation and later review harder.

Narrow the scope of revisions

Avoid changing model, aspect ratio, prompt and all references simultaneously. Otherwise successful and failed results are difficult to explain or reproduce.

  1. Approve the main composition.
  2. Retain the selected output as a reference.
  3. Fix one local problem per round.
  4. Review at display size and source resolution.

Preserve the delivery record

Check mandatory details before aesthetics. Verify business numbers and dates against approved material. Record inputs, model, date and final version so later changes can use the same baseline. Asset rights and destination-platform requirements remain separate delivery checks.

Sources and verification
