HUUUIAI extensions and material tools: canvas picking to local edits
Follow the path from an extension input to a canvas asset, a targeted edit and the resulting material.
Choose an extension input from the canvas
Open the extension's material picker and select the canvas option. The active parameter determines eligible media. A successful choice returns to the form; cancellation returns to the previous material-selection flow.
This selection serves that extension parameter. It does not replace ordinary Composer inputs. Groups can be opened to choose a specific member rather than treating the entire group as one file.
Match the tool to the intended change
Depending on material type and status, a toolbar may expose preview, editing, crop or expansion actions. Groups have group-specific actions. Preview inspects a result; local editing changes an area; crop adjusts the retained frame; outpainting generates beyond it.
When a task is still running, inspect its placeholder state before trying result-only operations. Tool availability depends on the live workflow.

Online experience boundaries
Client-only batch operations direct users to the desktop application rather than executing online. Resolve missing inputs or incompatible parameters before resubmitting. Material organization reduces selection mistakes but does not replace final content review.
