HUUUIAI extensions and material tools: canvas picking to local edits
Canvas picking fills the active extension parameter, not the ordinary composer. Choose an eligible asset, check the form, submit and compare the result on the canvas.
Choose an extension input from the canvas
The canvas option in an extension's material picker fills the active parameter with an eligible asset. It does not replace the ordinary canvas composer. Open the extension's material picker, enter canvas selection and choose the requested image, video or audio. A successful choice returns to the form; Escape returns to the previous material-selection flow.
Open a group to choose a specific member rather than treating the group as one file. The asset must match the requested media type, be ready and belong to the allowed selection. Check the remaining required fields before manually submitting the task.
Match the tool to the intended change
Depending on material type and status, a toolbar may expose preview, editing, crop or expansion actions. Groups have group-specific actions. Preview inspects a result; local editing changes an area; crop adjusts the retained frame; outpainting generates beyond it.
When a task is still running, inspect its placeholder state before trying result-only operations. Tool availability depends on the live workflow.

If an asset cannot be selected or the reference is wrong
Check the field's required media type, whether the asset is still uploading or generating, and whether its resource has expired. Being visible on the canvas does not make an asset valid for every parameter. Cancelling selection neither deletes the material nor submits a task.
If the output used the wrong reference, inspect the extension's individual media fields, not just the ordinary composer. If a completed result fails to preview, retry resource loading or inspect task status. Generating again starts another task; it does not repair the previous file's display.
Editorial instruction example, not a measured result: Use the product image as the subject. Replace only the selected background and preserve the product's shape, packaging text and logo. Borrow only the lighting direction from the scene reference, not its objects. Add the actual reference files to the relevant fields before submitting.
Online experience boundaries
Client-only batch operations direct users to the desktop application rather than executing online. Resolve missing inputs or incompatible parameters before resubmitting. Material organization reduces selection mistakes but does not replace final content review.
